High Pressure Hydraulic fittings In Practical Application

Heavy machinery and production equipment used in chemical and petroleum production depend on high pressure Hydraulic fittings to perform heavy lifting and movement, and can even be used for performing lubrication of fixed industrial gears, and other moving parts. Heavy equipment such as back hoes, excavators, and bulldozers utilize high pressure hydraulic valves in their movement, steering, and braking systems, and without these components the efficiency of these commercial machines would have little value and use in large scale applications. Both Denison and Vickers are considered leaders in the applied technology of hydraulic valves, and related parts and components.
The stable technology of hydraulics have continued to advance, offering engineers flexible and reliable means to perform tasks where high payloads and the precise movement or cargo and materials is required in ongoing labor intensive situations, such as at loading docks, atop skyscrapers, and other locations where other methods would be near impossible.
The core of the hydraulic system starts in the hydraulic motor, using high pressure reservoirs, and fluid amplifiers to store and distribute power, while absorbing shock. Trust and movement is achieved using rams and pistons, or lifting arms, which are actually different versions of high pressure hydraulic valves, that take fluid pressure and direct it as needed through sealed hoses to the specific ram or arm. Maintaining constant pressure flow and direction is achieved using direction control valves to prevent back flow and pressure loss.
Pressure within the hydraulic circuit is maintained using on zero-leak hoses, seals and connectors, which can easily maintain pressure over of 3000 psi. To further protect the system from serious failure or damage, a pressure fuse, or circuit is installed within the system that will can divert over pressure, help reduce fluctuation, and even trigger alarms in the event of serious problems within the pressure circuit. As over pressure is relieved, fluid is moved out the system into reservoirs. The fluid can be held as a reserve system in the event of pressure loss, or to counter act leakage.
Filtration of metals and other harmful particles within hydraulic systems is necessary to ensure maximum protection and lengthen the life of moving parts. Other issues include seal and leaks that can allow air and moisture to enter the Hydraulic fittings, causing serious performance problems and even damage to the expensive moving parts.
